Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions is a collaborative project by the teachers, students and alumni of the printmaking department of Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts. The interpretation of “Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions” (published in 1624), written by metaphysical poet and cleric in the Church of England John Donne, consists of a print installation, artist book, and a sound piece.
My artwork is part of the book (chapter 10, depicted above) and the print installation.
The body of work was part of the group exhibition at the International Printmaking Conference IMPACT 10 in Santander Spain (Biblioteca Central de Cantabria) 2018.
